Welcome to La Guía. These terms govern your use of our website, services and marketplace.

1. Who we are

La Guía is a tourism marketplace for Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, México. We connect travelers with verified local businesses, including hotels, tours, restaurants and activities.

2. Accounts

Travelers don't need an account to browse listings. Admin accounts are reserved for La Guía staff. Business owners receive accounts after their listing is approved.

3. Bookings & payments

When you book through La Guía, you enter a direct agreement with the business. We process the payment through Stripe or Conekta and remit it to the business minus our commission.

4. Cancellations

Each business sets its own cancellation policy, displayed clearly before checkout. By default, free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the reservation date.

5. Reviews

Only travelers with a confirmed booking can leave reviews. We don't edit or moderate opinions — we only remove content that violates our community guidelines.

6. Liability

La Guía is not responsible for the goods or services provided by listed businesses. We do our best to verify quality and safety, but each business is independent.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or with a banner on the site.
